"Running Free" was done in charcoal and the original size is 11" x 14". Many Midwesterners have memories of horseback riding through the fields or down the dirt roads like I do- or at least the memory of having one of these beauties nibble corn out of the palm of their hand or the feel of their silky main and soft noses.
